Biography:
Angels Fall was born in spring 1998 from the convergence in a sole
formation of some musicians coming from several local bands and sharing
a pure and innate passion for metal music. Common musical inclinations
were right ingredients for the rise of a new band. After a lot of substitutions,
only in March 1998 there was the decisive turn thanks to the coming
of the singer, Ivan. Evidently that was a positive period, in fact didn’t
pass much time from that event to the coming of the lead guitarist and
vocalist, Alle. Angels Fall became reality. So that band without a defined
stylistic imprint gained vigour, personality and, above all, a true
desire to work in the light of a feeling that mostly is an hard purpose
for a band to obtain. The elements of Angels Fall not only are musicians,
but they are especially friends and this is what really counts. The
style of their music was born as a sort of melodic epic metal, but actually
it is in constant evolution towards a new type of sonority, based on
impact-sound. At the same time it’s important to underline that this
band is maintaining its original soul. In the story of Angels Fall there
are several concerts, some musical contests and the recording of a self-produced
promo cd, “Blood of Revenge”, containig an instrumental Intro, four
metal tracks with fantasy lyrics and a slow ballad. It has been reviewed
by magazines and fanzines obtaining very good opinions. In October 2001,
Luca “Luke” Fortini replaces Alle at the lead guitar, and the band continues
to work on the new album in collaboration with “Steelborn Records”,
a division of “Northwind Records”.
